Out & Through: A V+V Staff Show at Wave Pool Gallery

My last exhibition at Wave Pool, this show, on view from January 18 - March 1, 2025, shined a spotlight on the work of artists who support the studio endeavors of Visionaries + Voices’ artists with disabilities.

Featuring the work of Karen Boyhen, Ron Brookbank, Courtney Combs-Mock, Geoffrey “Skip” Cullen, Missy D’Angelo, Lizzy Duquette, Luke Findley, Dawn Hanlin, Sophie Harrison, Seana Higgins, Tory Keith, Morgan McKnight, Robyn Winkler, & Drew Yakscoe, I invited the participants to consider whether they approach their own art-making as a way to escape their difficulties, or as a way to face them directly—knowing that both can be supportive approaches to alchemizing life’s ever-present challenges.
